We are thrilled to have Jenny Carlisle (Lillian’s mom) bringing music education into the school on Friday mornings!
“It’s my pleasure to be bringing simple music and movement into the Moonflower classroom this spring. This semester we will have a fundamental introduction to rhythm, dynamics, and melody. Group music-making with movement is especially fun for me to teach because the children learn patience and discipline, often without even realizing it, and it can also act as a mood regulator. Children learn to collaborate at the same time they learn to express themselves musically. They are propelled forward in so many areas including increased coordination, spatial awareness, memory development, and focused listening. For me, these are beautiful things.” – Jenny Carlisle
